Manchester United fans’ reaction spoke volumes after Andre Onana’s performance for the Red Devils during the Premier League clash against Everton on Saturday.
Ruben Amorim’s men have been woeful in the Premier League and lost three of their last five league matches ahead of their visit to Goodison Park this weekend.
Manchester United lost 2-0 to Crystal Palace in the Premier League at Old Trafford before securing a comeback win against Leicester City at home in the FA Cup.
Amorim’s side then suffered another major setback last Sunday after Spurs picked up a 1-0 Premier League win over United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Everton, on the other hand, have seen a turnaround in form and results since former United manager David Moyes made his sensational return to Goodison Park.
The Toffees won four of their last five Premier League matches before hosting the Red Devils at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
Everton took the lead inside the opening 20 minutes after United again showed their vulnerability from a set piece, with the Red Devils failing to clear a corner.
The ball bobbled back and forth between Everton and United players before it managed to sneak its way to Beto, who smashed his shot past Andre Onana.

Following on from Beto’s opener for Everton, Manchester United conceded for the second time after a comedy of errors from Andre Onana and Harry Maguire.
Everton winger Jack Harrison fired his shot straight at Onana from close range and the United and Cameroon shot-stopper parried the ball into the air.
Abdoulaye Doucoure then managed to tower above Harry Maguire and the Everton midfielder headed the ball past a helpless — and flailing — Onana.
United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, ruthlessly slammed the “fatal combination” of Onana and Maguire after their mistakes.
“Maguire and Onana are simply not good enough,” one fan said.
Another X user wrote: “Absolute ridiculous. Onana always puts it back to the danger area, Maguire waits for an invite to jump.”
Someone else commented: “How Onana and Maguire start for my club is just beyond me.”
“Get Maguire and Onana out of this club,” a fourth simply added.
While a fifth tweeted: “That’s one of the most pathetic things I’ve ever seen on a football pitch. Maguire and Onana… dumb and dumber.”
Somebody else claimed: “Nothing like Harry Maguire and Onana doing the ‘mannequin challenge’ after the first shot.”
“Onana just parries everything, but I’ve no idea why Maguire watches the ball in the air,” another suggested.
And an eighth fan posted: “Onana and Maguire is a fatal combination.”

United went into the break 2-0 down against Everton and Ruben Amorim was left with another headache with what he saw in the first half at Goodison Park.
Onana started off the 2024-25 Premier League campaign strong, but the 28-year-old former Inter Milan and Ajax star has simply regressed in recent months.
Harry Maguire has had a career resurgence at Old Trafford and the 31-year-old United defender has looked comfortable at times in Amorim’s tactical system.
The England international, much like Onana, has struggled to impress for United recently and was exposed during the Everton match at Goodison Park.
Both Onana and Maguire were equally at fault for the mistake in Everton’s second and the two United players are failing to even do the basics for the Red Devils.
