Ghanaian hiplife legend Reggie Rockstone has jumped to the defence of dancehall superstar, Stonebwoy, after he landed in hot water for erotically grinding a dancer during a recent performance in the United States.
Stonebwoy is currently on his ‘Up and Running’ North American tour and recently played a show in the city of Chicago in the U.S. state of Illinois.
While performing at the Outset in Chicago, Stonebwoy did something he typically does at most shows of his, which is to seductively dance with and grind on a well endowed female – whether it is a dancer or a fellow performer.
Stonebwoy has done this several times including recently in Ghana with Jamaican dancehall Queen Spice. He gets into trouble on social media everytime but he continues to do so as he argues they are a part of the performance.

After the video hit social media, netizens started calling him out for ‘disrespecting his wife’.
“Absolutely no respect for his marriage,” one fan indignantly commented.
However, Godfather Rockstone at that point jumped to Stonebwoy’s defence, noting that he is a performer and only doing his job.
He wrote: “When Denzel does a love scene in a movie you honestly believe he doesn’t respect his wife of so many years? Lol,”
