Ghanaian media personality and former colleague of Kofi Adoma at Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Nana Yaa Brefo, has called on her former boss to come to Kofi Adoma’s aid as he battles his current eye problems.
According to Brefo, the kind of figures Kofi Adoma is currently begging for on GoFundMe is nothing to Dr Kwaku Oteng hence he should come out and help his employee.
Brefo, speaking on her radio show, also called out the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Nana Agyeman Badu II, to come to the aid of Adoma, who got injured covering a festival in Dormaa at the behest of the Dormaahene.
Her comments come in the wake of news that Kofi Adoma has now established a GoFundMe fundraiser to fund his eye surgeries and other medical treatments. This became necessary after he was shot in the eye covering Dormaahene’s event by a musketeer who fired their weapon too close to him.
Since his injury, Adoma has been flown to Dubai to receive medical treatment. Initially, Mr Ibrahim Mahama pledged to cover his medical expenses however, Adoma started a fundraiser anyway, raising questions about whether he got the money from Mr Mahama or not.
