Maranatha Oil Services Limited (MOSL) has firmly denied allegations that it entered into a post-dated transport contract with the Ghana National Gas Company. The company insists that it operates with the highest levels of business ethics and integrity.

The claim, said to have originated from internal boardroom disputes, was first reported by The Herald on July 12, 2024. However, MOSL has dismissed the report as inaccurate and misleading.

In a rejoinder, the company clarified that it has never engaged in any post-dated transport service agreement with Ghana Gas. Instead, it explained that its dealings with the state-owned gas company are strictly limited to the purchase of condensate under established commercial terms.

“The publication sought to cast our company in a bad light. As a responsible business entity, we have conducted business with utmost transparency while complying with the highest standards of business ethics and integrity,” the statement read.

It further reaffirmed its commitment to conducting its operations in full compliance with industry regulations and best practices. It also urged stakeholders and the general public to disregard any misinformation that seeks to misrepresent its business engagements.

The company assured its partners that it remains dedicated to maintaining professionalism and transparency in all its dealings, emphasizing that it will not be drawn into any unfounded controversies arising from internal corporate disagreements.
