The Senior Administrative Manager of the Ayawaso Central Municipal Health Directorate, Perpetual Owusu-Yeboah, has expressed concern over the challenges hindering the facility’s ability to effectively and efficiently deliver quality services to Ghanaians.

Speaking to the media during the 2024 annual performance review meeting, Owusu-Yeboah highlighted the facility’s inadequate logistics, which have hindered the smooth delivery of its services.

“Some of the key challenges that we had at the beginning of the year, we had inadequate logistics. We didn’t have enough logistics to work with. Some of the things that the artist would need to work with.

“We were lacking some chairs, tables, laptops, or desktops to work with. We were having a challenge of that and so it was a bit difficult for us, but we managed our way through. But still, we would need help on limited resources,” she stated.

She further mentioned that the facility has been unable to conduct frequent training sessions for its staff to enhance and improve their skill sets due to financial constraints.

“Financially, we were not having money to support some of our programmes, so we had the challenge to do with that limited training. We couldn’t have enough training for our staff because we were having lack of resources…,” she added.
