Ghanaian musician, Yaw Tog, has been advised by social media users to quit music and find a new passion, preferably nursing, after he dropped a teaser for his latest song.
Yaw Tog’s video, a teaser for his upcoming single titled ‘Casamigos’, shows him in a car as he performs part of the song.
The teaser did not particularly impress social media users, as many dragged Yaw Tog, calling for him to quit music and find a new profession.
One fan said: “Bro pls buy nursing forms,”
Another called on him to become a yoghurt seller!
Others, however, came to Yaw Tog’s defence and slammed some Ghanaians for being overly negative.
Yaw Tog became a massive sensation in Ghana following the release of his 2020 street anthem, Sore, which featured amongst others, Jay Bahd, O’Kenneth and City Boy. The viral single even sparked a high-profile remix starring Ghanaian-British rapper Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur.
Following that success however, Yaw Tog’s career has taken a downturn, leading to social media users regularly trolling his attempts to reestablish himself.
