Jubilee-House
The 2025 Independence Day celebrations will take place at Jubilee House instead of the traditional grand ceremony at Independence Square.
According to the Minister of State in Charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, President John Mahama made this decision as part of efforts to cut down on government spending.
Speaking at a media briefing on Tuesday, Hon. Kwakye Ofosu explained that a review found that rotation of the celebrations across regions have placed a heavy financial burden
