Captain Smart, a renowned media personality, has shared his thoughts on politicians and their appearances on media shows. He referenced a past incident involving Kwame Sefa Kayi, host of Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, and Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). During this incident, Gyamfi was asked to leave the show after a disagreement with Sefa Kayi, which pleased some individuals at the time.
However, Captain Smart noted that the situation has since reversed, with Sefa Kayi now apologizing. He remarked, “When Sefa Kayi sacked Sammy Gyamfi from his show, some of you were happy, but now the senior man is apologizing; the table has turned.”
Captain Smart expressed his indifference to politicians appearing on his show, stating, “Personally, I don’t entertain politicians. When I hear that NPP representatives say they won’t come on my show, I don’t care because I don’t need them.” He emphasized his independence and willingness to maintain a neutral stance in his media engagements by saying, “I don’t need any NPP representatives on my show.”
