Manchester United fans have given their verdict on Patrick Dorgu after watching his debut.
On Friday night, the Red Devils took on relegation-threatened Leicester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Old Trafford.
Ahead of the match, all eyes were fixated on defender Dorgu, who moved to the club after leaving Italian side Lecce.
The Danish international’s position then sent United fans into orbit after he lined up on the right instead of the expected left.
During what was a dreadful first half, Leicester stunned Old Trafford as Bobby Decordova-Reid made it 1-0 in the 42nd minute.
At the start of the second half, Ruben Amorim surprised everyone by taking off debutant Dorgu, replacing him with Argentine star Alejandro Garnacho.
Despite only watching him for 45 minutes, United fans have already made up their mind on the 20-year-old.
One fan said: “Kid was our best player actually making runs ?? The kid better have a knock or it makes no sense.”
Another tweeted: “Dorgu then arguably was our best player but gets hooked at half time and Dalot stays at LWB?”
A third fan added: “Dorgu was good, no?”
Someone else wrote: “In fact, for 45 minutes, Dorgu was more threatening than Dalot.”

A fifth commented: “He’s taken Dorgu off ,who was probably our best player in the first half even though he was playing at rwb instead of lwb.”
Another fan said: “I honestly don’t get what Dorgu’s been hooked for. Was decent, showed some initiative. On his weak side too.”
During the second half, the Red Devils pushed for the equaliser and were finally rewarded when Joshua Zirkzee tapped home from close range to make it 1-1 in the 68th minute. With just seconds remaining, Harry Maguire scored deep into stoppage time to seal a vital 2-1 win.
United will be back in action next weekend when they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
