Former Black Meteors striker Samuel Obeng has joined Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club in the transfer window.The Spain-born forward moves the Moroccan topflight league in the winter transfer window from Portuguese outfit Casa Pia.Obeng Gyabaa is expected to play a pivotal role at the club coached by South African trainer Rulani Mokoena.The 27-year-old, who has spent most of his career in Spain, will be playing for an African club for the first time.He is familiar with playing in North Africa after making Ghana’s squad for the CAF U23 Cup of Nations in 2019 in Egypt.
