Ghanaians have lambasted the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the Minority over his uncouth statement that has incited violence between NPP and NDC supporters.

The statement, which many critics have described as divisive and inflammatory, has drawn sharp criticism from a broad spectrum of Ghanaians.

During a public engagement, Annoh-Dompreh  urged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to prioritise their party affiliations over fairness in disputes involving members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He said, “If you’re NPP and you find an NDC supporter fighting a fellow NPP member, help be@t the NDC!”

This remark has ignited intense backlash, with many describing it as unbecoming of a lawmaker. Critics argue that such rhetoric fosters partisanship, undermines national unity, and encourages violence rather than constructive dialogue.

One user wrote:
“Our leaders should be promoting peace, not fuelling division. This is unacceptable from someone in his position!”

Another commented:
“We need leaders who unite, not divide us. Politics should not be a battleground for hostility!”

Ghanaians have called on the NPP leadership and the Ghana Police to get Frank arrested for deliberately inciting violence and instead of promoting peace as a law maker.
