Chelsea predicted XI vs Brighton
Filip Jorgensen was handed a rare Premier League start against West Ham, and his composed performance will see him maintain his place in the side on Saturday.
An eagerness to keep Reece James fully fit will see Malo Gusto come into the starting side at the Amex stadium.
Trevoh Chalobah was on the bench on Monday, however is set for an important few months as a Chelsea player. He will start on Saturday.
He will be joined at the back by Tosin Adarabioyo, who made a crucial block to keep out the opposition late at Stamford Bridge last time out.
At left-back, Marc Cucurella will continue with no other recognised first team left-back since the departure of Renato Veiga.
Moises Caicedo has proven undroppable for Maresca this season, and this will continue as he lines up against his old club at the weekend.
His usual partner has been Enzo Fernandez, however the cup match will see Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall take his place in the side.
Ahead of the midfield pairing will be Cole Palmer, the only player who can rival Caicedo in importance to the club. His last outing against Brighton saw him score four goals in the first half alone.

Christopher Nkunku featured in a left-sided attacking position when he came off the bench on Monday, and will continue here against one of the few top-flight sides he has found the net against before.
