ltalian-born Ghanaian teen Ephraim Yeboah seals Dunfermline Athletic loan move

The Scottish Second-Tier outfit have announced the loan signing of the talented teenager of Ghanaian root from the English Championship side in this winter transfer window

Italian-born Ghanaian teenager Ephraim Yeboah has joined Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic from English Championship side Bristol City on a loan transfer deal, the club have confirmed.

The 18-year-old, who spent the first half of the season on loan at League Two club Doncaster Rovers, is set to spent the rest of the 2024-25 season at the East End Park in the Scottish lower division contest,

An official statement confirming the loan signing of the Ghana-prospect read via the club’s official website: ”Dunfermline Athletic is pleased to announce the loan signing of Ephraim Yeboah from Bristol City. Of Ghanaian descent, Ephraim is an 18 year old forward who was born in Montirone in Lombardy but moved to Bristol with his family at the age of eight.”

”Having come through the Bristol Inner City Football Academy, Ephraim joined Bristol City in August 2021. In June 2023, he began training with the first team squad and was included in the Bristol City first-team squad on a pre-season training camp to Austria. The striker signed a three-year professional contract with the club and made his professional debut for Bristol City in August 2023.”

”In February 2024, Ephraim joined National League South side, Bath City on loan until the end of the 2023–24 season. This season he was on loan to League Two Doncaster Rovers until he was recalled by Bristol City in January 2025 after making 15 league and cup appearances for Doncaster.”

Before sealing his transfer loan switch, he netted 2 goals in 15 games across all competitions for Doncaster Rovers in this current League Two football campaign.

Ephraim, who is born to Ghanaian parents in Montirone, ltaly and moved to Bristol with his family at the age of eight, remains eligible to play for either Ghana, Italy or England at the international level.
