The U.S. based Ghanaian content creator, Twene Jonas, has revealed that he is on the verge of being deported from the United States of America due to being constantly reported to authorities.
Jonas, known for creating wildly charged videos in which he attacks the political and social elite of Ghana, has revealed he has been forced into hiding due to the reports being sent to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency.
The content creator fingered other Ghanaians as being responsible for the reports, slamming them for being too willing to bring down their own compatriot. He claimed ICE had raided his residence twice looking for him but could not locate him on either occassion.
“These days when I go out I have to disguise myself,” Jonas said in the sombre video. “Until Ghanaians stop jealousy and trying to pull down their compatriots, our society will never progress,”

Jonas has become a social media sensation over the past few years, particularly since the pandemic, when he exploded onto the scene as a constant critic of the Ghanaian government and corrupt African leaders in general.
While his style has won some plaudits, particularly among young Ghanaians, many have slammed him for being too abrasive and disrespectful, particularly to authority figures.
