After the completion of the League Phase of Europe’s club competitions this midweek, the Champions League Play-off Draw 2024/25 takes place this Friday, 31 January, 2025.
With Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Inter, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, Lille and Aston Villa already having booked their places in the Round of 16 by finishing in the top eight, now those sides who finished from 9th-24th go into a playoff round, with the eight winners of those ties advancing to meet the aforementioned eight sides in the last 16.
