Nana Ama McBrown, a successful actress, has stated that throughout her career, she has never experienced pressure from film directors seeking sexual favors in exchange for roles.
In a recent discussion on Onua Showtime, she addressed the issue of manipulation in the entertainment industry, asserting that she is not the type of person who can be easily coerced into an affair.
“When I entered the movie industry, I didn’t meet anyone who tried to sneak their way into a secret affair with me because I don’t hide my relationships. I can’t hide who I’m with. It’s a must that I show whoever I’m with to the public,” she stated.
According to reports from GhanaWeb, McBrown emphasized her openness about her relationships, indicating that she has always been transparent about who she is dating.
Reflecting on her early career, she shared a story about Morris, the man who provided her with her first movie script.
McBrown described how they developed a romantic relationship during the filming process, noting his charm, kindness, and guidance on set.
She recalled being drawn to Morris’s appealing qualities and the supportive nature he exhibited throughout their time together. By the end of their project, their connection blossomed into a serious relationship rather than a casual encounter.
McBrown mentioned that once their relationship became public, it significantly reduced unwanted advances from other men.
Their two-and-a-half-year relationship was well-known among their families and friends, which helped maintain respect and boundaries.
When the interviewer playfully suggested that people might start looking for Morris after hearing her story, McBrown responded positively, affirming that he is indeed a great person.
