Former Lynx Entertainment record label signees and musicians, DopeNation and Kuami Eugene, have ignited a feud on social media after their respective exits from their former record label.

The online spat began when Kuami Eugene, in 2021, noted that he was glad DopeNation had left the record label, adding that it was an opportunity for him to get enough resources.

But in a later development, DopeNation has taken to social media to mock Kuami Eugene after Lynx boss, Richie Mensah, disclosed in a recent interview, that Eugene was no longer on the record label.

In the social media post on January 27, 2025, DopeNation noted that now that Kuami Eugene had left the label, current signees would also benefit from the limited resources he was fighting over.

“Let’s see how you carry the so-called ‘Lynx curse’ now. What was meant for four people is now for one person. We wish you well, @KuamiEugene,” they said.

The post from DopeNation seemed to have not sat well with Kuami Eugene, who took to social media to also rant, describing the songs from DopeNation as gym songs.

“Anyone looking for attention to drop another gym song should wait. I’m dropping a classic on my birthday come Saturday for quality music listeners, and then I will make some time, ok?” he retorted.
