A report from Ghanaweb, Joynews, and GhOne TV has revealed a heartwarming act of generosity by Ibrahim Mahama, aimed at saving the life of a young girl at Ridge Hospital in Ghana’s Greater Accra Region. Ibrahim Mahama donated a substantial $110,000 to fund the treatment of Lisa Laryea, a 10-year-old girl diagnosed with myeloid leukemia at the hospital.

Known for his philanthropic efforts, Ibrahim Mahama covered all of Lisa’s medical expenses, offering much-needed support to her family. His charitable actions serve as a powerful example of kindness and community responsibility, encouraging others to step up and help those in need.

Lisa Laryea, a student at Lerato Preparatory and JHS in Lartebiokorshie, a town in the Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly of Greater Accra, received this life-saving support. Her parents expressed deep gratitude for Ibrahim Mahama’s generosity.

Ibrahim Mahama, a prominent Ghanaian businessman, is the founder of Engineers and Planners, a leading mining company in West Africa. He also owns Dzata Cement Limited and other businesses in Ghana. Ibrahim is the younger brother of John Dramani Mahama, the former President of Ghana, who served from 2012 to 2016.

That was a great gesture shown by the brother to the NDC presidential candidate John Mahama to have that huge amount of money for the life of the girl at the hospital.
