The founding President of IMANI Center for Policy and Education Think Tank, Franklin Cudjoe has revealed that he will not be honouring the NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia’s invitation because he will be out of the country.
The presidential candidate for New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia sent out invitations to all Civil Society Organisations to hear and discuss his visions for the country and why he is the best man to lead Ghana.
However, in his reply, Franklin Cudjoe said he will not be available to attend the meeting because the date set he will be out in the United States for other business.
Franklin Cudjoe also said even though he would not be available to attend the meeting, if he was there, he would have questioned Dr Mahamadu Bawumia on what went wrong economically and why he was not confronting the very issue he was so loud about during the 2014 and 2016 elections.
“Dr. Bawumia has just extended an invitation to CSO leaders, including myself, to hear and discuss his vision for Ghana and why he is the best man to lead Ghana in 2025. Sadly, I wouldn’t be available to be part of the encounter as I will be away in the US. I would have directly asked him what went wrong economically and why he wasn’t he confronting the very issues as loud as he did between 2014 and 2016” Franklin Cudjoe said.
