Alfred Ofori Annye, Deputy CEO of the P B C Ltd, has called on Ghanaians, especially traders, to turn out early and vote on December 7th to secure a decisive victory for the NPP.

Speaking to traders at Kumasi Kejetia, Ofori emphasized that the current government, under the NPP, has implemented impactful policies and development projects over the past eight years and should be given the opportunity to continue.

Ofori Annye, highlighted the importance of each vote in determining the future direction of the country, stating,

“The NPP has worked hard to improve the lives of Ghanaians, from education and healthcare to infrastructure and economic support.

This election is critical, and we need every supporter to be proactive, avoid delays, and make sure their voices are heard at the ballot box.”

He further explained that by voting early, traders and other busy individuals can prevent long wait times and ensure a smooth voting process for everyone.

Addressing concerns about spoiled ballots, Ofori Annye, emphasized that every single vote counts, urging voters to cast their ballots carefully and accurately.

“Let us all make sure that our votes are valid,” he said.

“Avoiding mistakes on the ballot paper is crucial. When your vote is counted, it’s not just for you it’s for the continued progress of our communities and the nation as a whole.”

He encouraged voters to familiarize themselves with the process and follow the instructions carefully to avoid disqualified votes.

Ofori also underscored the critical role of the Ashanti Region in Ghanaian politics, describing it as the NPP’s stronghold and a key contributor to the party’s success. “The Ashanti Region is the backbone of the NPP,” he stated. “We are counting on our supporters here in Kumasi and beyond to once again lead the way.

Let us demonstrate the power of our region through a strong, united turnout at the polls.”

Reflecting on the achievements of the current administration, Ofori pointed to programs such as the Free Senior High School (SHS) initiative, which has made education accessible to more families and eased financial burdens on parents.

“The Free SHS program is just one of many ways the NPP has directly impacted the lives of ordinary Ghanaians,” he said. “These are policies that make a real difference, and we need to support the government that prioritizes the well-being of its people.”

Hon. John Kwame Duodu, popularly known as Sir John, President of the NPP KG Advisory Group, also supported Ofori’s call, reinforcing the importance of voter education and high turnout. He explained that the group’s mission is to mobilize and inform voters in key NPP areas about the importance of participating fully in the upcoming election.

Many traders at Kumasi Kejetia expressed their appreciation for the government’s policies, citing the Free SHS program as a major relief for families struggling with educational expenses. Some traders noted that, thanks to this initiative, they now have more resources to invest in their businesses and families.

They voiced strong support for the NPP, seeing the party’s policies as the foundation for continued progress and stability.
