President of Akroso traditional council praises Dr Bawumia for corruption-free record

Nana Odam Gyamfi, the President of the Akroso traditional council in the Krachi East municipality of the Oti Region, has commended Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for his exemplary leadership and corruption-free record.

He has described him as a credible and honest leader with integrity, highlighting his commitment to treating all individuals with respect and dignity, regardless of age, gender, ability, disability and religious affiliation.

Nana Gyamfi said Dr Bawumia’s commitment to transparency and good governance had been evident throughout his tenure as a Vice President.

The president of the Akroso traditional council made the remarks at Tokuroano, a farming community near Dambai, where chiefs, queen mothers, clergy, and Imams within the municipality had met Dr Bawumia as part of his campaign tour to the Oti Region.

Nana Gyamfi emphasised the achievements of Dr Bawumia and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government in stabilizing the economy, fixing the energy sector and enhancing social protection for the vulnerable, which were so fresh on their minds.

Dr Bawumia reiterated his willingness to promote commercial farming, irrigation, and agricultural lime to enhance soil fertility and ensure food security.

He also promised reforms in national service, making it more flexible and creating opportunities for Ghanaian youth.

Addressing the traditional rulers, Dr Bawumia shared his vision of leveraging technology and innovation to drive economic growth, create jobs and ensure a prosperous future for all Ghanaians.
