Hearts of Oak gaffer, Aboubakar Ouattara fumes over his side’s wastefulness in their defeat to Bibiani Goldstars and has pleaded with their supporters to have patience and continue rallying behind the team.

The ‘Phobians’ suffered their third season defeat after a painful 0-1 scoreline against the Miners in Ghana Premier League match-week 8 over the weekend at the University of Ghana Stadium.

It was really an exciting end to end action but it was Atta Kumi’s second half goal that handed the visitors all three points with Hamza Issah also blowing away an opportunity to get his side a point after missing a penalty in the last fifteen minutes.

Speaking after the defeat, the experienced Ivorian coach lamented on their missed opportunities and believes they lost as a result of an individual error.

“Every match we expect to win the three points but today’s match we lost three points at our home. The process continues for us. When we lost toe we lost three the supporters start to get fed up but the only thing we can tell them is to continue to support us because this is a process.”

He furthered on by telling their supporters to keep faith as things will get back on track very soon.

“The boys played with discipline but we miss some chances that we could have scored. Even one goal we couldn’t score. It was just individual error.”

Hearts of Oak have now dropped to the 12th position on the table with nine points and will travel to Medeama SC in the next round of matches.
