Member of Parliament for Agona West and current independent candidate, for Agona west Cynthia Morrison narrowly escaped an assassination attempt in Agona Nyakrom, Central Region.
The incident occurred around 7:40 pm when an unidentified gunman targeted Morrison but missed, injuring another person instead.
The attack took place during a power outage, which added to the chaos and confusion.
