NAPO was shocked when the fire outbreak occurred
The Running Mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, was left stunned after a portion of the Pantang Nursing Training School hostel caught fire.
In a video shared on Facebook, NAPO was seen on a campaign platform soliciting votes from the students as the 2024 general elections near when the incident happened.
From the video, during the event, shouts could be heard from a section of the students who were rushing out of the hostel due to the fire outbreak.
Upon seeing the incident, the NPP running mate stopped his campaign, put his hands behind him, and kept gazing at the building while authorities made moves to douse the fire and prevent it from spreading further to cause harm or destroy property.
There have been mixed reactions to the video on social media, with some individuals surprised by NAPO’s reaction, while others found his reaction to the fire funny.
The NPP continues campaigning in various educational institutions as they hope to win the hearts of the students to vote for them in the 2024 general elections scheduled for December 7, 2024.
