Recent news reported that Kwadwo Asante, the Member of Parliament for Suhum, and Cynthia Morrison, the MP for Agona West, had allegedly rescinded their decision to contest as independent candidates in the 2024 general elections.
This report came after the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, indefinitely suspended Parliament following the circulation of photos showing both MPs with the leader of the (NPP).
