Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa charges Flying Eagles to win and qualify for semis

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has charged the Flying Eagles to beat Cote d’Ivoire today to reach the semifinals of the WAFU B U20 AFCON qualifiers in Togo.

Flying Eagles spokesman Sharif Abdallah disclosed that Ahmed Musa put a phone call to the team Wednesday night.

“He told the boys that they have to take the match against Cote d’Ivoire very seriously,” Abdallah said.

“He said he like Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze and Kenneth Omeruo all played for the Flying Eagles and it greatly helped their careers.

The Flying Eagles will tackle Cote d’Ivoire in a final Group B match of the U20 AFCON qualifiers in Togo.

Kick-off today is 4pm Nigerian time.

After losing their opening group game to Burkina Faso, the Nigeria U20s need to win to stand any chance of reaching the semifinals of the qualifying tournament.
