Asante Kotoko has entered negotiations to sign former Aduana Stars and Al Ahli Tripoli striker, Isaac Mintah, as they look to reinforce their squad for the current season.

The 25-year-old forward, currently a free agent, has begun training with Kotoko and is being closely monitored by the technical team, who will decide whether to offer him a contract based on his performance.

Mintah’s experience spans both the Ghana Premier League and the Libyan league, making him a valuable addition for Kotoko, especially following the departure of Sudanese striker Yagoub.

Known for his sharp attacking instincts, Mintah had a standout season in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 9 goals and providing 3 assists in just 11 matches, topping the goal charts before his move to Al Ahli Tripoli.

Since joining Aduana Stars from New Edubiase United FC in August 2022, Mintah has netted 17 goals in 38 appearances, making him a sought-after forward.
