Ibrahim Osman, Prince Kwabena Adu, And Edmund Baidoo Have Been Officially Named And Recognized

A trio of Ghanaian footballers, Ibrahim Osman, Prince Kwabena Adu, and Edmund Baidoo, has been selected for the Team of the Week in their respective leagues due to their outstanding performances over the weekend.

Ibrahim Osman earned his spot in the Eredivisie Round 9 Team in the Netherlands. The 19-year-old was pivotal in Feyenoord’s 5-1 triumph over Go Ahead Eagles, where he showcased his prowess with three goal contributions, his first numbers of the season.

His exceptional play merited him a rating of 9.4, the Man of the Match title, and impressive statistics, including five key passes, ten ground duels won, and three fouls drawn. Notably, Osman was the only Feyenoord player to make the Team of the Week.

In Austria, Edmund Baidoo made an impact as a rising star and match-winner in the domestic league.

The 18-year-old forward came off the bench to secure a win for RB Salzburg against SC Rheindorf Altach, breaking a 1-1 deadlock in the 86th minute [2-1]. His significant contribution earned him a place in the Austrian Bundesliga Round 10 Team of the Week.

Meanwhile, in the Czech Republic, Prince Kwabena Adu had an impressive weekend in Prague by netting his first brace of the season. His performance earned him the Man of the Match award in Viktoria Plzen’s 3-1 victory over Banik Ostrava.

The 21-year-old striker was included in the Czech First League Team of the Week for Round 12 as part of a formidable three-man attacking lineup.
