After The Apology, What Next? Arnold Asamoah Baidoo Fires Salifu Amoako

Families of the two teenagers who lost their lives in the fatal East Legon accident continue to grapple with the unexpected demise of their children.

The accident occurred when 16-year-old Elrad Salifu Amoako, son of Bishop Salifu Amoako, lost control of a Jaguar SUV (GN 7801-20) and collided with a 4×4 Acura vehicle (GR 2542-23), driven by Joseph Ackah.

The collision caused both vehicles to catch fire, with the occupants of the Acura being burned beyond recognition.

In response to the tragedy, Bishop Salifu Amoako publicly apologized to the families of the two girls, asking for forgiveness and expressing deep sorrow over the loss. He prayed for comfort and strength for the grieving families.

Many Ghanaians have commended the Man of God for publicly apologizing and sympathizing with the grieving families.

But Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, an entertainment critic, thinks otherwise.

Speaking on the United Showbiz on United Television, the outspoken critic questioned the upbringing of Elrad Salifu Amoako, saying his parents must be blamed for his actions.

Arnold noted that several videos of the suspect minor driver driving recklessly have surfaced since the accident, an indication that he has also been wayward and his parents have not been able to tame him.

Arnold further stressed that the recklessness of the sixteen-year-old has caused the untimely passing of two promising children- a situation he said the parents of the affected children may never recover from.

To him, the apology does not cure anything, as it will not bring back the lives of those who died, stressing that the law must take its full course to ensure justice is served.
