Today, 17th October 2024, the chiefs and traditional leaders of Ningo-Prampram publicly threw their full support behind former President John Dramani Mahama during his visit to the constituency as part of his fourth Greater Accra regional tour. They called on all residents to vote for Mahama and Honourable Sam George in the upcoming elections, stressing that they are the best choice to bring much-needed development to the area.
The chiefs praised Mahama for his past achievements, highlighting how he built a 16km road in the region back in 2016 when he was president. They believe he is the right person to finish the many abandoned projects left by the current NPP government. Additionally, they pleaded with Mahama to resolve their long-standing water issues and reverse the NPP’s attempt to sell off the Saglemi Housing Project, which was meant to provide affordable homes for Ghanaians.
Honourable Sam George, standing alongside Mahama, took a bold stance, challenging President Nana Akufo-Addo to publicly declare his position on the anti-LGBTQ+ Bill. He urged the President to sign the Bill into law, stressing its importance to the people of Ghana and their cultural values.
The chiefs made it clear that John Mahama has proven himself as a leader who delivers, and they trust him to do even more. They are encouraging everyone in Ningo-Prampram to vote for Mahama and Sam George to ensure that the community gets the development it deserves.
