Injured Chukwueze out of Super Eagles rematch in Libya

Samuel Chukwueze has withdrawn from the Super Eagles squad on account of an ankle injury and has returned to his Italian club AC Milan.

Chukwueze was a second-half substitute when the Super Eagles pipped the North Africans 1-0 in Uyo in the first 2025 AFCON qualifier Friday.

In his absence, recalled Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke is set to have a better look-in for tomorrow’s rematch in Benina near Benghazy.

Kick off time is 8pm.
