Aduana Stars celebrated their inaugural win of the season in the Ghana Premier League, triumphing over Dreams FC with a 2-0 scoreline at Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday.

After a frustrating run of five matches without a win, the Ogya Boys delighted their home fans in Dormaa Ahenkro by finally securing all three points.

League top scorer Emmanuel Marfo showcased his exceptional form by breaking the deadlock with an impressive goal just three minutes into the second half, capitalizing on a precise pass from Elvis Addo.

This early strike injected new energy into Aduana, who had struggled to convert their first-half dominance into tangible chances.

As the match progressed, defender Abubakar Adams put the game beyond doubt by adding a second goal in the dying moments, ensuring a well-deserved victory for head coach Yaw Acheampong and alleviating some of the pressure from a challenging start to the season.

Meanwhile, Dreams FC’s woes continued as they extended their winless streak to six games, leaving them searching for their first victory of the campaign with just three points from a possible eighteen.
